We have all heard the old mantra: “Ignorance is bliss.“. It is often used to justify skipping the news, dodging a difficult conversation, or ignoring that subtle “gut feeling” that something in a project is off.

But there is a high price for that temporary relief.

In my latest blog, I share a story about a driver who decided to “tape over” a blinking check engine light. The car still ran, so why worry? That illusion of safety lasted until a freezing winter night when the alternator finally quit in the middle of a snowstorm.

The Whole Truth: Ignorance may feel like bliss, but knowledge brings empowerment, freedom, and lasting growth.

As Joseph Campbell once said, “The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek”. True peace does not come from hiding, it comes from the awareness to steer through the storm with clarity .
